If I didn't reply to you, then i'm sorry but you did not get to me in time.
I should be making another offer real soon, since i am in the process of
updating my most of my tapes to lo gen boards.

hello phishies-
i know you may be annoyed now considering that this is my second post in the
last hour, but i just wanted to say something.
while phish is without a doubt, my favorite band, i also listen to many other
types of music and also post to their respective nets. i post to nets for:
the beastie boys
the smiths
led zeppelin
the dead
smashing pumpkins
blues traveler
as well as some other fun ones that involve themselves with spam and the famous
alt.good.morning net.
anyway, some of us have been complaining because we've been fighting a little
bit lately, but i was looking on the beastie-boys net just now and i couldn't
believe it! all the people on these net fight and bicker and whine all the
time. its just one big flame-fest. its annoying and it gives me a headache.
i just want to say that i'm glad that even though we have our differences here
in phish-land, at least we are civil. we use the net for what it was created
for: discussing and appreciating the music of PHISH. god i wish other nets
would follow our example. anyway, sorry about the waste of bandwidth, but i
just wanted everyone to know that it could be WAY worse than it may sometimes
seem to be...
your happy jolly phriend on the phish.net

Here it is, my search continues. I have 200+ hours of HQ SBD and Low Gen
DAT Aud's of phish mostly from 1989 through 1994. I also have a couple
excellent DMB, WSP, Dead, ABB etc. I would be interested in trading for
some HQ Bad Hat shows.
thank you and good night

I'm currently constructing my humble attempt at net-idenity, and I'd be
interested in hearing from others with web address with good music stuff
on it. I'd really like to have a bunch of links to other folks with
diverse musical interests-- so if you, for example, feel that your page
on Sca is really good, write me and I'll add a link on my page.
Also, I'd love to hear about people with ausome phish pages... but I want
diversity too. Write me if you have a worthwhile web page! Thanks.

>mmm, yes, good point. but are they necessarily opposed?
A-ho!!! The best questions have many answers. The concepts of above
& below, like their inbred cousins, up & down, are surprisingly
subtle. We tend to think of these concepts as the most concrete &
obvious notions in our imaginal lexicography. It seems as if the
universe likes to play a joke at our expense, for just when we
settle into the familiar stance with regard to the horizontal
HEAD UP
FEET DOWN
HEAD UP
FEET DOWN

it's global qualities smoothly around our tiny little minds. Up &
down mean nothing to the universe. What we call up is only away from
the planet & even that notion is detroyed in a very small
neighborhood of our spherical home. Down is towards the earth, or
towards Mars, or the Sun or Alpha Centurai (if you happen to be
vacationing in any of those climes.) Living without an up is good
for physics you say, but what does that mean for opposition &
meaning & mythology
& PHiSH fer chrissakes!
Geez, if I only knew what *those* words _mean_ ....
We've got it Simple
'cause we've got a net

I know Phish is from New England and all, but shouldn't that have a some
generosity towards Southern and Western fans. So, I've created a list the
band should consider for next New Years.
12-28-95: Some large venue in St. Louis
12-29-95: The Omni? Atlanta, GA
12-30-95:Madison Square Garden NY,NY
12-31-95:Boston Garden Boston, MA
Does that sound pretty fair to you? I think so. Even though I live in
Tennessee, you northern fans still got it a lot better than everyone else.
For those of you who can't miss a New Years show, Driving from St. Louis to
Atlanta is about 10 or 11 hours. Atlanta to New York is about 14 or 15. New
York to Boston is what, about three? Driving may be tedious, but Hey! isn't
it worth it.

Subject: Good traders
Reply-To: jackson@sun.cis.smu.edu

Hello Everyone-
I just want to say how important it is to stop the Bad Trader alerts.
There is almost always a reason for delays as we have learned in the Brad
Kraft story. I have been waiting for tapes for a few weeks, but I finally
got in contact with the person and he explained his dilemma, and I said
cool, take your time. Be patient, people.
Well, I would just like to add that I have had positive experieces with
Eddie Dunn and David Heeks. They got my tapes to be mightly quickly, and
Eddie and I were doing a 6 tape trade. I must add a little moral to this.
When I sent my tapes to David, I neglected to include the covers and
realized my mistake after they were in the mail. I emailed David quickly
to explain myself, but he had already shipped out my tapes. But David was
very sympathetic. He told me that we would jsut have to trade again in the
future. This kind of sympathy makes David a good trader. So- David, if you
are reading this, get back to me and we'll do another trade.
Oh, yeah, the moral: communicate with the person you're trading with
before you send out the tapes. Make sure you have covered every last
minute detail of how you want the trade handled. Keep smilin', everyone.
Peace- Sam
